Popcorn Day! We will learn how to say “popcorn”in sign language, learn a fun popcorn rhyme and do a cute corn craft!

“Leaves are Falling”! We will review our fall leaves song and make a fall scene craft.
Monday, Nov. 10
Spider Day! Each child will bring a LIVE spider to preschool (in a secure container, please!!!). We will sing spider songs and make marble painted spider webs.
Tuesday, Nov. 11
FAMILY NIGHT! 6:30-8:00 Join us for fun crafts in the classroom and then we will go to the Fellowship Hall to enjoy a potluck. Bring a dish to share, please.
Wednesday, Nov. 12
Home Day! Please email Teacher Cari a photo of your house by Monday, November 10th so we can make a book to read in class.
Monday, Nov. 17
Bring your Family Books today! Teacher Cari emailed a template for this. Simply add your child’s name in the place of “baby” in the template. Add pictures of your family and change the words to suit your family. Print your pages today. I will put your pages into page protectors and we will read the books in class. These books will go home in December. Thanks for your help with this project!

All around our neighborhood today. We will add make a extra large tabletop neighborhood with roads, neighborhood buildings and props.
Monday, Nov. 24
Bird Day! We will read Birds by Kevin Henkes and enjoy a new felt board game/song. We will make bird feeders.
Wednesday, Nov. 26
Turkey Day! We will learn 5 Little Turkeys song and make salad spinner turkeys!
October was full of Fall Fun!
We learned a new song:
We learned about squirrels and went on a “Nut Hunt”!
We introduced the “glitter table”!
We did “pumpkin pounding”!
We opened the Masterpiece Studio with clay play!
We painted pumpkins with shaving cream.
Our Masterpiece Studio got fully stocked and we enjoyed making whatever we wished using paint, glue, scissors, stickers, ribbons, papers, buttons, beads, feathers etc………………….
We enjoyed playing on our climber on a rainy day.
We had a ton of fun at Pun’kin Time pumpkin farm. Farmer Jim gave us a great tour and we explored the pumpkin patch and chose great pumpkins.
We ended the month with our Fall Party including a cooking project: Pumpkin Pie Pudding!
